The iPhone 13 Pro line will have many camera upgrades in addition to the new color option.
On March 26, celebrity leaker Max Weinbach and Filip Koroy, YouTube channel owners EverythingApplePro, shared new information regarding the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, the smartphone duo expected to be released by Apple in September-October.
Color is one of the most important factors in smartphones. The iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max series are available in gold, blue, silver and graphite. According to EverythingApplePro, iPhone 13 Pro will continue to bring more color options to users
Silver and gold are expected to remain the same, the graphite color will be refined closer to the matte black that appeared on the iPhone 7. Meanwhile, blue will be replaced by orange or copper.
Apple can also use a new coating for the frosted back of the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, avoiding fingerprints like the previous generation.
In terms of camera, Weinback predicts an upgraded portrait mode on the iPhone 13 Pro. It combines data from the telephoto camera and LiDAR space scanning sensor, helping to better distinguish the boundary between the person and the ground.
A new mode called "OIS correction" is also in development, allowing the iPhone to focus on subject shake with optical stabilization.
According to PhoneArena, the rear camera cluster of the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max will be less convex and have the same specifications. On the previous version, the iPhone 12 Pro's telephoto camera had a 52 mm focal length for 4x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro Max camera has a 65 mm focal length for 5x optical zoom, the main camera has a 47% larger sensor.
Rumors also suggest that the iPhone 13 will feature a 120 Hz display, a feature already present on many Android smartphones. In December 2020, The Elec reported that Apple had ordered a large number of displays from LG Display and Samsung Display, in which LG would provide LTPO panels with always-on features and high refresh rates.
Besides the upgrade on the iPhone 13 Pro, rumors suggest that the iPhone 13 mini will still be released even though the iPhone 12 mini has poor sales. Finally, the AirTags finder accessory will cost $ 39, measuring 32 x 32 x 6 mm.
