Due to the ongoing protests to end police brutality, hoodlums have allegedly looted 110 tractors and other farm equipments from a commodity warehouse in Yola, Adamawa state.
The Police have arrested 120 suspects for the alleged claims. The police spokesperson in the state,
Mr Suleiman Ngurenji explained the event while speaking with Journalists he also mentioned that most of the stolen implements had been recovered.
Chairman of association was interviewed by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) when he explained that the hoodlums hijacked the warehouse of the Rice Farmers Association (RIFAN) and stole loads of their inputs.
The police have been able to recover 35 tractors, 12 motorcycles, 95 plastic chairs, 742 bags of fertilizer and 18 bags of maize.
