Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture stated at a Special NAN forum in Abuja,
that he's seeing a better Nigeria where people's fundamental human rights will be respected and honored.
The Minister said that the federal government now know and understand the message of the Nigerian youths,
and is looking forward in meeting their demands if only they end the protest and give the federal government the chance to implement the nation's security architecture reform.
Lai Mohammed has assured the Nigerian youth that the process of reforming the
police and entire internal security structure is in progress and the federal government only needs time, as they agreed with the EndSARS protest.
He also stated that the federal government has directed all states to set up a judicial
panel of inquiry to investigate erring police officers who engage in the killing and brutality of innocent Nigerians.
With this latest development, it is now sure that the federal government might really implement change in the stipulated areas
, as requested by the protesters. All we hope for is that the federal government should take the Nigerian youths serious and start working.
