Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has suspended all sports in the kingdom for the next three days because of the suggested murder of innocent protesters at the Lekki toll-gate on Tuesday night using guys in uniform. Sanwo-Olu said this on a watched broadcast on Wednesday with help from THE WHISTLER. Nigerian infantrymen reportedly opened fire on demonstrators campaigning for #ENDSARS in different parts of the country. The protests, which have lasted for over 11 days, continued Tuesday evening against the 24-hour curfew imposed on the state with the help of Sanwo-Olu. While there is no reliable record of the wide variety of those killed, a few bills claimed that over 40 humans were killed. He regretted that: “The events of yesterday are without a doubt one of the darkest gradients in our records as a state and as a people. I had attracted the #EndSARS protesters because Monday, October 12, and Tuesday, October 13, 2020, respectively. The governor said I had fired 3 of the protesters injured inside the incident, with an additional three or 4 set to be fired soon. He said: “In the sensitive mood, in the country's mood I have ordered that we have a direct suspension from all state activities for the next three days, except for those that can be linked to governing protection within the kingdom and control of the current difficulty. “I further ordered that all public homes that we reach, we must lower the flag for the next three days, as a sign of appreciation and cohesion for the protest. He expressed optimism that the United States would be higher again and apologized for the unfortunate incident. He also called on protesters to present peace as a danger.
